Quality Assurance

PTR Automation plans to leverage the Quality Assurance Program of its SEAPORTe team partner Booz | Allen | Hamilton. Booz | Allen | Hamilton is an ISO 9001 Certified company. As part of our ISO processes, Booz | Allen | Hamilton PL's are required to regularly review, understand, and consistently apply the program management information contained in Booz | Allen | Hamilton's Quality Management System (QMS). The QMS is a compilation of Booz | Allen | Hamilton's best practice examples from previous successful contract performance. Additionally, the QMS contains Booz | Allen | Hamilton's engineering, technical, manufacturing, programmatic, contracting, marketing and other best practices, all of which are utilized and instituted today within Booz | Allen | Hamilton. We continually improve our processes by identifying and capturing new best practices within our documentation. Our quality policy is to ensure excellence and customer satisfaction in all our products and services.

Booz | Allen | Hamilton continues to monitor and maximize quality for SEAPORTe through compliance with their ISO 9001 QMS, which requires that we: select team companies based on their demonstrated quality performance; implement ISO 9001 training of every employee in their discipline; rigorously comply with their documented ISO 9001 practices; provide independent quality review of our products before delivery; audit our quality performance with our customers, correct problems and provide feedback; and continuously improve our quality procedures by identifying, documenting and implementing best practices. Booz | Allen | Hamilton assesses the risk of every product and assigns the appropriate people to provide independent quality review. Booz | Allen | Hamilton will maximize the use of the Team Seaporte Webpage by posting quality assurance information and best practices that our team will use. Booz | Allen | Hamilton takes great pride in our quality performance record and will apply our proven QA processes to every SEAPORTe effort.

Booz | Allen | Hamilton will use their ISO 9001-compliant TO life cycle management process for SEAPORTe TOs. This process is currently being applied by Booz | Allen | Hamilton on over 50 active contracts and over 500 active TOs. Since 1991, our Panama City office has successfully applied this same process to more that 700 TOs for Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) alone. An important pillar of our process will be the Booz | Allen | Hamilton SEAPORTe Business System (SBS). SBS will be a primary source of Booz | Allen | Hamilton management and financial information. The SBS will track each RFQ at receipt and provide real-time status. SBS will use notification rules and automatically send emails to task participants concerning critical proposal or task status changes or milestones. SBS, along with Booz | Allen | Hamilton's demonstrated work control processes are in place to ensure a seamless transition into the SEAPORTe Program.
